Officer Gus Vegas was murdered on February 11 bravely defending his family inside his home. I gave this gift to the Richmond Police Department earlier this week, and it was presented to Officer Vegas' family last night. Officer Vegas was a wonderful, kind, and caring person. If you conduct a search of his name, you will be humbled by the many stories of his fine character, contributions to the community, and dedication to his family.
